i just got back from school. Very disappointed with my son's results..he got 179 . 2c and 2b. I dont feel like reading this thread anymore because i keep seeing \"oh ive got 230, or 240, or 260 etc etc..\" Im happy for the all those who have performed well but why couldnt one of them be my son. We sent him from tuiton A to tuiton B to tuiton C. Spent $$$. Burnt the midnite oil..Prayed and prayed but what is the end results??? Hope someone can feel what I am feeling now....

PSLE is only a stage in life and definitely DOES NOT define success or failure in one's life. Most of us do not even remember our PSLE scores. Disappointment is understandable but snap out fast and move on to celebrate what your son has done - diligence in burning the midnight oil etc. :celebrate: All the best !

Hi hashroo...my heart goes out to you and your child , can empathize...though it is easier said than done...still the outcome of PSLE is not the most important. Please don't give up on your child. Try other methods to support him.

Mean parents. :x[/quote]actually many kids study very very hard for this psle..many of them also attended many tuitions for the preparations of psle...so even though they only manage to get average..i think all of them deserve a big hug as they have done their best and sacrificed alot of their playtime at this young age....

Thank you very very much for the comforting messages. They were beautifully written. I am just lost for words…Ive just been here a few months ago and look at all the encouraging words and message I got from you parents. Yes, I will encourage my DS to work harder and hopefully get into Express. Next, Ive got to look for a good school around Hougang/Senkang/Punggol for NA. I live in Hougang.
