      4 am ?

Imagine got woken up at 4 am & don't get the first choice. Then, it will spoil our sleep & what are we gonna do from 4 am to 8.30 am ?
Come into KSP to kill time! I am sure there would be like-minded parents here at that time!

my dd got an email telling she didn't get to NUS. ๐Ÿ˜ข

they say the cop is around 260. According to what i heard, there are quite a number of pupils who've got 260 and above. Wish my dd can get to njc (1st choice), there's so long to wait :faint:
i think i have to be satisfied with my dd's aggregate (255), she wrote about aliens in her PSLE conposition (she said she never wrote about aliens before and that idea just popped up. she thought she was a genius  )
does njc have a boarding school? and i heard something about methodist using the same boarding school as nan yang, is that true?

On 22nd Dec, we should start quickly collating the COPs of schools. This will help all KiasuParents to decide if they want to appeal to other schools. Good luck to all ๐Ÿ™ ...

Yes, yes, with the co-operation of all members here, I am confident this should not be a problem.

I suppose I will start staring at my hp at 4am waiting for sms. ๐Ÿ˜„

                Hi hi2mom,

Your DD's aggregrate of 255 is by itself a very great achievement !!

Other than RGS & Nanyang, she should be able to get into any good school.

What is her 2nd choice ? Bcos NJC last year COP is 259.

Another 2.5 days to that all-important SMS...ASSUMING results are released from 4am..

Good luck to all students/parents! Hope you'll get the school of your choice.

Need more things to do before that? How about go on a bus/train ride with your child to figure out how to commute?

When I read all these countdowns, I feel very nervous for other parents!

Anyway, itโ€™s a good time to teach your child about disappointment and other values like accepting their successes or failures (if they did not get into a school of their choice) and whatโ€™s the next course of action. Remember to assure them that youโ€™ll still love them no matter what the result is.

                        Yes totally agreed.

learning to take failure is part of learning process. Good for them to learn to deal with it early in their life ...
