DSA 2011

In terms of chance, yes, rather high chance since DD did well for SA1 plus from GEP. But until we get the black and white for a CO from either school, the outcome can still be either way …
DH just said that now all our schedule plans around "Post DSA" and "Pre/Post PSLE" …

Not to worry, Your DS is GEPers with >80% for SA1, right?
Base on the number of GEP girls and the number of intake for RGS and NYGH. Most of them will be able to get a CO from either school. Not to worry, your DS stand a high chance to get CO from both schools.

No choice lah. With our DDs undergoing puberty plus the burden of vying for entry to their dream school(s) weighing on their shoulders plus facing their first national exam, we just got to be their counsellor and cheerleading and rah rah team lor...

Well Said TREX8!TREX8:
Hi jtoh, DD is somewhat a perfectionist and she felt lousy as one of the girls was so much more eloquent and phrased her response so much better in the interview. DD felt much better when I highlighted that it is not an elimination exercise - doesn't mean that when one is in, the other 2 are out.

HCI requested for photocopies of certs only. No need for certification either.
We have certified the results and some of the awards in his school. We will just bring these along. HCI already have the information when we register, so probably only the admin stuff will be looking at it to verify and collect. Don't think the interviewers will have time to look at all these.Paddy Field:
thanks twatau. Do they need to bring their own portfolio and the original certs? -

Ngbrdad,Wah NJC Hast timing a bit weird leh
Must report by 12pm
Test from 12.45pm till 1800hr
The kids are all going to be hungry. Must eat early lunch liao
And looking at the timing for the tests
1 Reading Comprehension 45 Minutes
2 Mathematical Reasoning 40 Minutes
3 Abstract Reasoning 30 Minutes
Don't see how they can stretch it to 5 hr 15 minutes even with 30 min between each papers.
Maybe there is an error in their instruction, ends at 1600 and not 1800.
It seems like there are 2 groups for NJC HAST test. DS is in the morning group 8.15-12.45. Just note to get there earlier considering there will be parents picking kids from HAST at about same time too. -

Thanks. For the afternoon group must report by 12pm.

So morning session from 8.15 to 12.45 ?
That's half an hour shorter than afternoon session. -
Btw for the RI GAT just bring bus pass as ID is enough right ?
No email print out needed right ?
