Hi Funx3Funx3:
Just to Share, My Gal told me her Frenz Went for Chinese Dance Audition in NYGH on Fri Afternoon,
The Music were Stopped Half way thru the dance routine ....
Apparently Her other Ext Dance Mates Told her that NYGH ask for a ....
1 Minute Dance Routine
(Huh? .... So Short? Everyone's Response, including the Dance T ....)
So Whoever Going for Chinese Dance Audition Better Stick to this Timing ....
Maybe they Have Many Auditions to Run thru ....
And HAve to Limit the Timing ....
Heard Last Year CO is .... 3 gals selected from >200 Applicants ....
That ratio of 3 vs 200++ is :scared: Think even new share IPO also very much better than this ratio!
BTW, I have condifent in your dd and sure she can be :nunchuk: and 一蹴而就! :rahrah: :celebrate: -

There were total 220 GEPers, 100+ SMOPS winners and 120 sports at HCI yesterday.
That's good info to know. Insider news or you are an insider? -
My DS was one of those helping out in the yesterday event…so I got to know as the info was distributed to them.

So any idea max how many students HCI will in thru DSA? -
vlim:
I don't know what is the max. My guess is majority (80%) of the GEPers and SMOPS winners (P, G & S) will be given CO or WL. The chance of WL to eventually get a CO is almost like over 90%. I guess it would be around 30 to 40 slots for sports.ycpang:

If that being the case, do you know the success rate for DSA2 taking place on 23 July which is open to all other P6 students since most places will be awarded to DSA1.
Thanks. -

I don’t know. But we can do some calculation. The total cohort at HCI each year is 450. Assuming 50% is catered for appliants through PSLE results ( 225), Minus 100 students of 3 to 4 classes of ispark which consist of GERers and SMOPS winners, minus again another 40 for sports, that left 85 slots for DSA2. I am sure HCI will offer (CO + WL) more than 85 eg. 150 for DSA2 since not everyone will take up the offer at the end of day. This is only my own assumption. -
