Maybe there was a traffic jam? Or the kid had cold feet and backed out at the last minute?
Our Guess is that they could have read the time / session wrongly, thought they R in Session 2, instead of 1 .... :roll:TREX8:
Funx3, all the best to your DD's GAT at RGS today.
You mean NYGH so nice to wait 40 min for late comers? I thought if this is something that is important, then both DD and parents should try to be punctual.
Format the Same, But Paper No Same ....
My Gal Say at NYGH 1st session, Waited Very Long, for some 3 or 4 who was not there .... almost 40 minutes (Finally started without those absentees ....)
this is a 1 hr GAT test ....
Her RGS GAT test (Last One to be Conducted) will be on Tomorow afternoon, 60Q in 20 min ....
RGS Staff says .... Not the Same, Cannot skip or share results with other GAT tests .... -

Ngbrdad,So how many here with kids taking the NJC Hast this Sat ?
My DS still doesn't know about the 2:1 girl-boy ratio in the school or else he will probably refuse to take the test completely.
However I think he will be very happy about the 9 weeks boarding in school in year 1.
Just for your info, there is even a year whereby NJC has a imbalance of 3:1 due more boys crossing the road to the other side
It is not only NJC, Duman and RVHS also has this imbalance, though theirs may not be so wayward :rotflmao: -

good la...more 'choices'

good la...more 'choices'
When in the teens, it is known as more \"distractions\". Better for the \"more choices\" to come in the twenties than in the teens

the twinning in NYPS, as in other GEP pri schools, is MOE initiative. It was implemented by the previous principal Mdm Heng who is now NYGH principal. Mdm Heng has lots of pulling power on the NYPS girls to go NYGHjtoh:
IF your info is correct, then Nanhua, ACS and Tao Nan all increased their classes by one.
No the no. of GEP in take has not increased in Nanhua. The 4 classes are called twining classes. Two years ago they implemented twining classes per MOE appeal to let GEP and non-GEP socialise more. In the twining classes they let the GEP and High ability non-GEP pupils(50% each) attend mix class for some subjects other than the main GEP subjects Eng, Math and Sc. They attended HCI togather and for SS the non-GEP pp also attend but are not graded. They also let these non-GEP pp participate in IRS projects. These only implement in Nanhua. For other GEP centre, was told the non-GEPpers do not attend SS and IRS with GEP per. When come to attend the 3 main GEP subj Eng, Math and Sc, they form only 2 classes, about 50 pupils. Read some where in the thread that this year they reduced the selected HA pupil to 1 class. Not sure if current NYPS GEP classes also have HA non-GEPers doing IRS and SS togather cos the same p who implemented this now in nyps. -
I am glad to have found this thread... many :rotflmao: parents to provide mutual support to one another.
My DD finally offered an interview by NYGHS. :dancing: :dancing: Anyone with good advice on NYGH interview? Will it be in Chinese?
Many thanks in advance.... -
