My DD finally offered an interview by NYGHS. :dancing: :dancing: Anyone with good advice on NYGH interview? Will it be in Chinese?

Congrats! Heard interview is in groups of 2-3 and ask general qns like why choose nygh type of general qns. Not stressful. This from a friend's daughter in last year's DSA.

Can I ask if your DD is a GEPper ? My DD is in GEP and until now still no news of interview

Ri replied my email enquiry, term report refers to results slips not the termly feedback slip from teachers.

My DS still doesn't know about the 2:1 girl-boy ratio in the school or else he will probably refuse to take the test completely.
However I think he will be very happy about the 9 weeks boarding in school in year 1.

Just for your info, there is even a year whereby NJC has a imbalance of 3:1 due more boys crossing the road to the other side
It is not only NJC, Duman and RVHS also has this imbalance, though theirs may not be so wayward :rotflmao:

Ya Ngbrdad, how long can you hide from him? See what happen to us last yr. I did not know till I visited the school on the interview day myself. MY! it is like a girl school ... hardly could I find a boy in the high school uniform. Many parents told me it is a popular alternative for gals who miss NYHS or RGS.

they are not required to bring their original certificates. The photostated copies which we have submitted is good enough for the interviewers.

anyway..it is just one file..so if worry just bring along la...we are ks parents mah

Oh, by portfolio you mean a compilation of certificate will do? I thot someone said must bring one of SS portfolio?

For HCI geppers interview, they also no need to present the original certificates..

For RI interview, as stated in their email that student are requirement to bring a key project such as IR, etc or one of their outstanding assignment to present during the interview...
Nevertheless, they might change the criteria every year..so got to check again next yr ..Zann

my ds IR \"die off \" so is SS portfolio useable ? They are mainly write-up. If not what else?
