Bear in mind that this is the school your son will be studying in for 6 years, so greenhouse or not he’ll have to get used to the environment.

Are the classrooms and halls in RI air-conditioned?

Not sure if same statement was asked. DS did not say so but he felt after the interview that HCI is a more welcoming school. Each group had a senior to chit chat with whilst waiting and the atmosphere was more relaxed. In comparison he thought waiting at the hall was like waiting to see a doctor -- everyone was solemn and quiet.

Agreed, the Junior block is like a greenhouse, warm as hell, and all the applicants were made to sit under the translucent roof. πŸ˜“ πŸ˜“

Ya 'steam cook' first before 'eat' them up in the aircon room :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Then stress for the boys also. All the interviewers name are listed on each room. You know who are they going to interview you. Would be the HOD, VP, P etc..

The classroom/interview rooms are air-conditioned. I happened to stand for an hour in the buiding before realizing there was an aircon room that was open to parents to sit in. By then, DS already finished his interview! 😒

Please please tell me where is the room so that I can sit in aircon comfort while waiting for DS next week.

I sort of agree to that.
Based on the GAT process, RI was definitely less friendly compared to NUSH and NJC.
The students are very friendly and helpful but the staff members can be a bit more helpful.

That is because RI know they are always the preferred choice. Just the name \"Raffles\" is enough to attract the top of the top.
but I think RI has take the DSA process v seriously as the interviewers are the p, vp and hod le... :udawoman: :udaman: .....no play play :nailbite:
