There are 3 days and a few time slots to choose from. We brought our ds1 last time. He wanted to go to the school from there!

Another classic case of sch visits and getting inspiration to work hard in getting in ...

For the RGPS girls, they just need to walk up from their school to NJC. That's what they did in previous years. No need for the parents to get involved. πŸ™‚

To all parents who are planning for DSA for their children,

We are sharing some tips on DSA in our blog below:

                http://krtc-marineparade.blogspot.com/2011/03/direct-school-admission-preparing-your.html

All the best as you embark on this journey with your child.
thank you for sharing... I'd like to know if your tuition centre offers courses that prepares for GAT exams?

Thank you for sharing. My DD is very shy and quiet. I'm very worried that she may not look confident and well spoken during the audition for dance in June.

Same as my DD Also but I feel if she is interested then it should be ok

My ds1 is in year 2 already. He applied under DSA after the Open House. He is enjoying his time in the school.

A little excerpt from our newest post just posted a few minutes ago.
The truth is many students would only have one or two 'dream schools' but many times, they worry that they may not get into their 'dream school' and hence they would apply for other schools through DSA. However, the problem is DSA may not let these students secure a place in their 'dream school' and only for their less desired schools. Out of anxiety, they would just accept their fate and select for these less desired schools. Disappointingly, and not surprisingly, when these students receive their PSLE score sheet, many students find out that just based on their T-Scores they can actually apply and get in successfully to their 'dream schools'! Unfortunately, they had already opt for the less desired schools which they got in through DSA. There is hardly any chance of turning back now.
We have already three very informative posts on DSA. Here are the links πŸ™‚
