Received a letter from NUSHS last week, telling us about their school achievement and also to remind us to put them as first choice. Strangely, in the same letter there was a form for us to indicate our 2nd language preference and we are to submit this form by 30 Oct 2011. Reason they gave was to facilitate them to make arrangement when the school starts in 2012. The school sure has unique logistical problem not seen in other school??

They have the resources to cater to minor request/need from any student.
Heard of story of student who did literature in year 5 and 6, being the only single student in the class for the last 2 years.

That is very nice of NUSH. Most JCs would simply brush students off saying no such subject combination due to timetabling and resource problems. 😄

I rec’d a call this morning from an ip school to remind me to put them as first choice for the dsa preference application.I appreciated their effort but wondered whether previous years they called to send reminder or this year there is something different.

          Just submitted the form.

Me , DW and DS1 sit in front of the computer .
6 pairs of eyes checked thru everything.
DS2 was trying to distract us in the background.

But it’s really a very very simple process.

Printed the acknowledgement and saved soft copy.

My dd and I were really surprised at how few of her cohort is choosing NYGH over RGS…likewise for the boys with the vast majority choosing RI over HCI…I really dun quite understand y when both are equally good schools… is it just this year or gep students?

More choosing RGS and by a huge difference in numbers..... So far she has heard only of 3 or 4 girls opting for NYGH out of the 4 classes of girls....... :skeptical:

actually the mahuan is on the parents who need to do some foot work

yes, but u should not think oni of the mahuan the parents hv when they want change school.
must think of all the work that the school went through to pick the student , must arrange for interviews, must check all your certs that u submitted, must call, sms ,emailed on time , otherwise all parents neck long long then complain in some forums..
after all the hard work , the school give you CO , then u get high T score and now think the school not good enuf for you! 😓 :siam:
                    lidat not so good right?
                    just my 2 cents. 😄

                    i agree i agree

Maybe they feel tt though both are good schools but coming to yr 5-6.. It is better to be in The R family ... :scratchhead:
