I think If not rich better don't go to these schools, will learn wrong values or have wrong expectations. But I know friends who tell me that need to mix with rich and famous so that their kids will have better network when they grow up. But I think if you are not rich like them, won't be able to fit in, and will not be in the same circle next time anyway.
Agree. The kids will feel very inferior when their rich classmates brag about the cars their families have, what branded stuff they have, etc. Even in pri sch, the rich kids were comparing whose house's chandeliers are bigger, birthday parties are celebrated at which 5* hotel, etc.
The rich ones will not be interested to include the poorer ones, how to get into the same circle?

        Hi all,

If my son has opted his choice for DSA (waiting list). Does this mean we would stil have to wait for PSLE then we know if were in?

I thot all these arrangement shld be before PSLE result release this week?

If after result, then they confirm that u r in , then I might as well go my merit?

        Thks

The DSA results will be given together with your PSLE results. If you are successful in getting into the DSA school of your choice, you will not be eligible for the S1 Central Posting Exercise.

Is it possible to call up the school to ask about the outcome of DSA WL ?

Surely they know the outcome by now since it will be on the PSLE slip tomorrow.
Will they just ask you to refer to the PSLE results tomorrow ?
IF can know a positive result by today, the stress till tomorrow noon will be greatly reduced.

I think should be able to check thru' phone by now. Unless there are tons of WL waiting to be converted to CO. The school should be able to help to check. Wish u best of luck.

Guess there's no harm in trying. I'm sure the sch knows the outcome already.
Good luck. Hope those with WL with be converted to a CO. :rahrah:

Will everyone with COs be rushing out to buy uniforms tomorrow?
