Ur maid reminds me of my previous maid Su Su but I sent her back 3 mths ago. I wonder who ur agent is, care to share? U sure paid quite a heavy sum for upfront loan. Your insurance is rather high too, I guess that includes the runaway bond. Anyway a certain percentage will be refunded to u, mayb 80 percent depending on who the insurer is. Yup, I agree with all, u should demand back yr $$ if u seriously dnt want to use this agent again.

If u decide to continue with them cos of the $$ then get a fresh Indon n it should be F.O.C. cos sometimes the agent will ask u to pay out more $$ due to the change in Nationality. Ahhh! all out to slice our throats.

The agents are the ones making $$$ out of all this. I don’t think they really check and train the maids properly. At the end of the day, we are the ones who suffer.

It's exactly these kind of maid agents/agencies that prompted me to seriously think maybe we shld have a blacklist of all these unscrupulous agents on KSP forum so that others will avoid using them.

I support! But having said that will it mean that almost all agencies names will eventually make it to the blacklist since the industry is so slack! :?

Bigsnoopy, it can be done if there is a majority of us who support it and Chief allows it. I think we can put the blacklist under Alternative Views forum or another thread under Domestic Help?


I think this will help us weed out the unscrupulous/irresponsible/bad agents and support only the good ones. Of course we have to have valid reasons to blacklist them.

1amber, it's precisely becos the industry is so slack that we the employers have to do something about it since the govt is not doing anything to protect us. Thanks for the support!

My earlier point is that I am not sure how many agencies will make the cut given their low standards of delivery... :scratchhead:

1amber, it doesn't matter how many maid agencies will make the cut. Most impt is to weed out the REALLY bad and irresponsible ones who charge high fees yet slow/unwilling to give employers help when their maids give us problems.


I still believe there are good/responsible/ethical agents around, but they are mixed amidst the bad eggs. So let's blacklist the bad eggs so that they will shape up or ship out, and we can also highlight the good ones. But this again subject to Chiefkiasu's approval.
