A maid who is resistant to learn cooking...fussy with food.

Last night, mum told me the maid is refusing to eat bcos food is not to her liking. Looks like this Myanmar maid cannot last 6 months.

Brother is so mad bcos maid broke another Corelle bowl.
I kept all my Corelle utensils when I had maids...used Ikea ones.
Now that I have no maid, I use my Corelle and also bought matching cutlery.
:rotflmao: She's fussy about food, but can't cook? Then you ask her what she likes and cook that for her. i.e. Be her maid.

I have an ex-colig, who became her maid's maid when she's not working and during the weekends. Why? The maid will actually tell her, \"Mam, I wan to eat curry chicken tonight.\", and my nice colig realli cooked it for her (and the family). 😓

Whenever she's at home, the maid will refuse to cook. Even when she's on MC, end up she's the one cooking. When the maid is not feeling well, the maid gets to sleep the whole day and she has to do the housework.

My SIL is the one cooking...that maid is complaining bcos dishes are too plain for her liking.

Your SIL is too nice, maid climbing over her head liao.

I buy canned food, fish, chicken wings and instant noodles for the maid to eat when we eat out. My mum cooks on weekday but weekends are spent on the road due to tuition so she has to cook for herself. We always tell them they can cook the chicken wings and fish in whatever way they want but they are lousy cook, so always turn out quite bad. Even they eat less than the normal amount when they have to eat their own cooking. In the end, they stick to canned food and instant noodles.

I always remind my maids that they are not indispensible. Everything they can do, I have done it previously and I can do it better than them and they have seen me do housework, so they know it is true. They also know I will not keep them if they cannot value add.

if the maid can cook well, also got prob.I once hired a Filipino, she can really cook, coz she learned cooking skills for her ex-employer.

But...she can cook=she can eat.

what pissed me of...i bot her frozen chicken. She didn't eat frozen chicken.Instead cooked n fed my son frozen chicken n she ate fresh chicken.

bot her ntuc bread, refused to eat n prefered premium brands.Ate my kids' gummy bears(multivitamin).asked her to take care my kids, but always end up cooking in the kitchen.

gave her 1week supply of meats+vege, she finished in a day.The rest of weeks, ate maggi mee...then complained to neighbour maids i only gave her maggi mee.

i even let her go to agency n asked her to look fr. employer.Yet,she chose to bk to phil, reason she couldn't find employer without children or elderly. 🕺

Good thing about Myanmar maid is they can eat pork. When I hired indon ones, they cannot eat pork...agency staff said if on days we eat pork, tell maid to fry egg or cook noodles. I bought a packet of frozen Tay chicken for maid. But they didn't eat it.

Asked my SIL how her Myanmar maid is working now that they have gone home. SIL said soap powder finishes so fast, now have to buy cheaper brand.
Wash clothes only rinse water one round...my brother has sensitive skin, so he got fed up. Everything maid cooks, she uses oyster sauce :slapshead:
So that's why SIL has to cook herself or else ingredients are wasted.

My maid cannot cook but can eat a lot. Need to eat at least 2 packets of instant noodles each time. Use sesame mee oil and abalone sauce for her food instead of normal oil and oyster sauce. Now have to tell her these are not for her use.

when i hv maids,i bot most things fr. Sheng Shiong.U can get some cheap Oyster sauce or sesame oil fr Sheng Shiong.

i used to let her used what we’ve,but she "misused" n "overused".So i’ve no choice but to downgrade the brands, since i don’t monitor how much she used.

my mum has to hide n lock all the children titbits in cabinet. For big bottle softdrink, such as Ribena, they drew few \"pig heads\" :boogie: outside the bottle, told her it is not halal.

She eats \"gula malacca\" when can't find any titbits. She always muz munch something.
