Pat's Schoolhouse

Thanks to Mrs Patricia Koh for making the effort to explain.
On the issue of class ratio, it is not the MCYS recommended class ratio I was referring to. On PSH’s website, the nursery class ratio is 1:8 which, to me, means a maximum class size of 16 (for 2 teachers). However, a nursery class could exceed 16. I have spoken to a few PSH personnel (staff and management) on this point but the impression I have is that the ratio stated on the website is just a guideline. Subsequently I got busy and did not pursue this point any further. -
I thought I was kiasu to want to enroll for my 6 months old baby. But I was not.... zZzzz... Most of the centres are full already
Left me with only Raffles. Sad, preferred Halifax but they can only take in siblings and toddlers from Baby Haven... -

same here. mine was six months old and the waiting list was longer than a roll of toilet papers. :faint: and i thought i was kiasu too at that time but realised i wasnt the only one.
if you want to put your child in a popular school, better check to see if u are able to register and put her on waiting list even if she is still in your tummy.
getting a place in popular schools, be it high end or neighbourhood, is getting very very difficult now and going forward. -
:rotflmao: :rotflmao: :rotflmao: looks like the queue will start with the first ultra sound scan report ...... not six months after birth.
true to form, kiasu. please don't complain !!

aiyoh, complain also must take queue no. cannot suka suka just complain.
with a certain group of firends, i realise that i need to give out q no. so that we could all take turns to complain and grumble........ otherwise i can wait till the cow comes home and still have yet to get a word out of my mouth.
