Is amazing that (Nanyang JC and Eunoia JC ) have improved so much, in terms of their L1R5 admission cut off point.
Nanyang JC takes in JAEs is amazing.
Heard Nanyang Heads reflect, revamp its teaching methods regularly to improve teaching methods that churn out results.
It bothers to listen to students cohort's feedback.
Upgrade campus facilities for students' welfare
eg latest is a Student Lounge

For EJC, this year's A Level results will include those from JAE intake COP of 7 Science / 8 Arts (same as NJC and VJC). If results are good it could continue to fuel demand for next year's JAE.

Obviously, what any individual student does (both academics and non-academics) is more important than School A or School B but I think many are still at least evaluating input and output in this process...
Yes, this was the first batch of students who spent 2yrs in the brand new campus.

Ejc has 60% IP cohort while Vjc probly less 50% IP.

The drop in Sc COP to 5 this year for NYJC could be due to influx of 4 netters who failed to get into RI and HCI. My DS is one or them. She told me there is a school mate with gross 6 and net 4 L1R5 who fails to get into RI. So 6 gross net 4 could be the level of balloting at RI this year. The rejected ones are likely to flow into NYJC (most of her friends and her). This could be one possibility, if considering gross 6 to be the cutoff for balloting at RI.
            Transferred from the NYJC thread....

Do you happen to know if RI has usually ballot at 6 gross 4 net? I was under the impression that 6 gross 4 net was usually safe, and that it was the higher gross scores that were at risk (i.e. more lower or better scores this year or more concentration of choice for the lower or better scores)? But this is just a hunch and I could be wrong.

I actually thought 6 gross 4 net was probably a very small sliver of students; had guessed that most of the kids that score 6 gross have 2 points from HMT and then a point or two from CCA.

Could be due to citizenship tie breaker before gross score as a few had posted in Reddit now they hv to take MT on Sat outside sch as nyjc does not offer their MT.

Hi, how do I interpret this data?

Does it mean that CJC performance (even though taking in students at COP of 13) is on par as Yishun-Innova JC (COP 20)?

I would read it as cjc has almost double/double the students scoring above 80/85 compared to YIJC, (not knowing cohort size of each jc).
A jc's cop depends on a few factors such as vacancies for JAE after DSA, popularity, location, brand name, perceived quality etc. so to me, it's not a true reflection of a school's value-adding. Not forgetting affiliated students have 2 bonus pts to some JC.
Ultimately, it boils down to individual students' effort no matter which sch.
