Need some help here.
DS got 242 T score.
His choices were
1) Nan Hua
2) SJI
3) Fairfield
4) Swiss Cottage
He got into Fairfield
Fairfield and Swiss had the same COP of 2012 235(2013 is 239 and 237) but now we realise logistically it is very incovenient to go Fairfield from Bt Batok and there is long jam at dover road if we drive, no direct bus and MRT is also far
Thinking of transferring him to SwissCottage. Do you think the chance is high and how do we do it? -

I feel, uniform is a must for the first few days. A sign of respect to the school eventhough do is appealing. Also, dc won't feel out of place.
Try holding back buying books till teacher starts teaching after orientation period is over. You could give your dc extra pocket money for books, in case some lessons start early.

Why bother ?????? Fairfield Methodist has affiliation to ACJC ...... He is a boy ..... he can find his way to school on his own, the train station is not too far away ..... just my 2 cents. -
What’s the advantage of affiliation to ACJC? Also Swiss cottage is band 3 n FMS is band 6 in 2012 banding

If u ask me the 2 points makes a lot of different for JC admission as well as comparing a government aided school to a government school. I would take FMS anytime over Swiss ..... this is my personal view.
