I think you are mistaken .... I wasn't referring to my appeal.. I was commenting on \"Danlim\"'s comment about appealing to Swiss Cottage for his son when the son was posted to Fairfield .....

Personally I would have taken Fairfield for the culture of the school as well as the affilation to ACJC ...

I did appeal successfully appeal for my DD when she was initially posted to Swiss Cottage.

So which school your DD choice initially? Did she moved?

If no news by the 1st week of school ... the likelyhood is that the appeal is not successful.

However, encourage your kid to work hard and if the result is good in sec 1, can try to appeal again for sec 2.

I got the replies this way also from the few schools i appealed. They said \"you just settle in the school you are posted to!if you didn't hear from us by this date, means not successful!\" very :mad: , Haiz, so yaya. The few schools are lower 2nd tier schools, not even 1st tier.

To be fair … please spare a thought for the school and the PIC of appeal at the school. Have your guys wondered how many appeal cases that the school has to look at every year … tens/hundreds and how many phone calls that the people has to entertain ?


I was once in the same situation and I was anxious, I called the school a few times and if every parent called a few times, it will multipy … and of course the PIC will get irritated.

I was informed of an interview on 31st. From what I know, its 10 students fighting for 8 places - if I am not wrong.
The 10 students are with a COP of 238.

But was also told tat they are sending out notices to those below 230 and advise them to report to their posted schools. So, can safely say tat these DC have no chances already.[/quote]

Hi kwcllf, did your DS get into CCHMS with his 236+2? My DD got 235 + 3 and was not successful in her appeal.
