It is not material but for discussion sake:
IMO since u stay SK, Nan Chiau just opposite, I think you should consider because
1. It's COP is same if not slightly better than CCHS, so academic wise
CCHM and NC are close in COP, denote demand are similar between the 2. NC is in a highly concentrated residential area, and CCHM is not. If CCHM is still seeing the same demand as NC, I suppose it has that something the drive that same demand? -

My elder daughter's refused to select NCHS as first choice 4 years ago as she don't like the environment and went to Crescent Girl School.

1. It's COP is same if not slightly better than CCHS, so academic wise, I don't think it will be comparable. Only difference is no JC affliation
2. it is also a SAP school so you can still have the appreciation of Chinese culture.
3. Time spent travelling is cut short by so much. Your child and you will definitely appreciate it when there is late dismissals.
However at the end of the day, it is what your child wants. So long the child is ready to live with the choice that is made.
This time younger daughter's don't like to go NCHS because is too near our house as she prefer to travel longer distance and should putting Crescent Girl School as first choice.
Could be both attended girl school in primary school and would prefer to same for secondary school. -

I have travelled to CCHM by MRT and walking along the park connector to the rear gate of the school and the same time walked one round of the school.
Suggest try visiting the compound of both schools. Your daughter will then have a real feel of the environment and the vibe. It is very different between CCHM and NC.
Have also shown her the compound of Crescent Girl School -

Thank you all for all the advised given regarding the distance, time travelling from SengKang to CCHM.
My daughter’s clicked on the submit button opting Crescent Girl School as the first choice follow by CCHM.
All the best on the posting results!!! -
Does CCHM start school daily at 7.30am?
Is there any day where students start school later? -

Hi
Am thinking of purchasing uniforms for Sec 1 earlier as may not be in town in the last week of December. I saw both JeepSing n Shanghai uniforms sell CCHM Uniforms via Google search. Buying from either vendor will be ok? Also do the students typically wear PE attire most days? So will one full set of uniform shirt suffice and more PE tees and bermudas?
Thanks for advice! -

Pre covid, only the day with PE, student get to wear t shirt ( school short/ skirt) Other days, full uniform. Since covid, everyday wear t shirt ( school short/skirt) because aircon not on.
