DIY : Alphabet Cards

jesschan:
My son used to learn phonics the montessori style when he was in school in N1. So I did some powerpoint slides to revise with him at home. Now he is in P1 and doesn't need them anymore but thought some of you might be interested. But I do not know how to attach a powerpoint file here.
Montessori sandpaper cards on slides? Wow, bring it in! :ugogirl: -
I sent Chief a PM already. Now awaiting his response.

Nope. No PM. But you can always send me email with your attached file at [email protected] -
That’s strange. But never mind, will send the file later when I am home. The file is stored in my desktop computer.

Actually, I am not sure whether my boy received the \"authentic\" montessori style of teaching - he was taught the small letters and not in alphabetic sequence - that sort of caused some confusion when I introduced capital letters. Personally, I prefer Letterland which is more interesting. -
Hi Chief,
Did u upload the ppt slide that jesschan sent to U? Eager to teach my girl. Thanks!
Hi Jesschan,
Can pm the powerpoint slide as u dont accept pm. Thanks! -
Initially wanted to DIY. Have went thru loads of thinking after 2nd boy destroy my flashcards, and that left me to think that \"what if he destroy these alphabets cards as well?\" So I thought cards is not lasting especially if it landed on my 2nd boy. Also I want my kiddy to press and feel the stroke, that also left me to think that card is not lasting as well.
Hubby laughed at me for wasting time in DIY. Said that the time and effort I DIY, might as well go and have a break by watching shows or log onto internet. :stupid: Hubby also said the $ will be well spend since got 2 kids. In the end, I ended up buying the alphabets sandpaper instead.
Gotten the lower and uppercase sandpaper letters (wood base; 6 by 6\") for $40. That works out $0.76 per sandpaper alphabets on wood base. So worth it lah. :celebrate: At least I have time to log onto internet lah.
