I tried B8 at Sin Ming before. It’s actually quite good but dunno why not many people buy. No queue even on Sat night. Their orh-luak also not bad.
My other fave is the one at Chomp Chomp. Must wait more than an hour. So I only eat there like once a year. -

Wa, its been like 10 years that I have stepped into Golden Mile. Didn’t know they have nice Hokkien mee there. Only saw on T.V there are many Thais.

The Chomp Chomp famous hokkien mee is the stall next to the $1 BBQ chicken wings, near the end of the hawker centre. It’s fried by an old man and he uses mainly thin beehoon rather than the thick type. He fries it very thoroughly and infuses the noodles with the stock. The hokkien mee does not have much gravy like other stalls. Try it if you like this version.
The BBQ wings also need to wait 1hr so we usu just order both together and wait. -

I went to try this stall n delighted to find that they use the opeh leaves for takeaway. However, it didn't taste as nice as I had expected it to. I think the stall at toa payoh lor 1 is better. But then, it is really subjective. I will give it a try again to eat it steaming hot n see if it taste better than takeaway. -
