I think for such occasion, it is better to be in your uniform rather than in home clothes, think you will feel very out of place at the new school, surrounded by new classmates who are wearing their primary school uniform.

I mean reporting in uniform is correct but was not told to bring anything.

I called up ACS(I), was told no need to bring anything too. Maybe different schs different practices? Anyway, I will bring along

You are most welcome. My pleasure to be able to contribute something in KSP. 😄

Jennifer, you could be right, different school requires different things, but safer to bring everything. During my elder boy's time 2 years' back, the teacher checked the PSLE slip to confirm the T-score with her records and also checked his particulars with the report book.

I think different schools have different practices for reporting day. There is no collection of any documents during reporting. DS1 school has a talk by the principal followed by purchase of textbooks and uniforms. For DS2, I was shocked that there was no 'welcome' for us. We were directed to make our purchases and leave after that. I guess it could be that the school takes the view that not all the students will be attending the school eventually so it's not necessary to meet the students cos there will be appeals and lots of movement of students. They have the talk and admin on the 1st day of school. However, I just heard from a friend that the system has changed since students choose their schools after their results. It seems that it is necessary to produce the PSLE cert during reporting. I'm playing safe by bringing everything. I have seen some students in home clothes and it doesn't leave a good impression as most of the other students are in uniform. Moreover, if they are assembled in the hall, it's more official and better to be in uniform. I apologise to those parents who may have read my comments about PSLE cert on the other thread. I only knew of it when a parent called me this morning about it. She was so kind to offer to collect it for me when she didn't see me in school. :torchme:
