      25hourmaid:

edanson, you are most welcome! πŸ˜‰

25hourmaid, for your superhuman efforts in maintaining the order of this thread, you are awarded the Community Support Award of 100KPs. I'm sure you have helped a lot of parents today!

Thank you Chief!  Don't deserve this, but well, will accept it gracefully! πŸ˜„

BTW, can you \"STICKY\" this thread for easier reference?

I mean reporting in uniform is correct but was not told to bring anything.

I called up ACS(I), was told no need to bring anything too. Maybe different schs different practices? Anyway, I will bring along

I called up ACS(I) and also told need not bring anything. Anyway, asked a colleague of mine who went there this afternoon. He said just bring about $400 for books and uniforms and such. His son did not wear school uniform either.

My goodness, I was away from the computer for barely half an hour and in fact, was about to shut down the computer and go and :snooze: (after all, I did not sleep well last night) when I decided to refresh this site to see if there are any more COPs to update and imagine my surprise to see that I have been awarded 100KPs!

Yes, it was certainly hard work and no joke to keep up with the updates that were coming in fast and furious early this morning but I am glad I managed! πŸ˜“

Well, I still think I don't deserve the 100KPs,  but since Chief has been so nice and kind to me, then I suppose I will just accept it gracefully!

lovingmum, harini, mathsparks, ooptimizer, and small you are most welcome. As I said in my previous posts, it's just a small contribution on my part towards the KSP community.

mathsparks, of course I did rest in between updating this thread, πŸ˜‰ just that you did not notice, that's all, maybe you were too engrossed with the results of your interview for your appraisal today. BTW, how did it go?

And yes, I contributed a lot today! I started the day with an orange ribbon, but managed to have that changed to the green ribbon within one day and I think in my so many years of being in forums, I have never contributed so much or have a thread that was started by me move so many pages in one day! You could be right to say that this is by far, the fastest moving thread that I have seen and think it has already out-done the avatar contest thread.

just curious what if when u go 4 interview the principal ask\"what can u contribute to the school?\" what should u answer. :?

It will be good if you can let us know which school you are posted to and which school you intend to appeal. You need to find out more about the school cos different school maybe looking at different niche. Tell us more and see if the kiasu parents here can help you come up with some answers. πŸ˜„

No lah, I may be wrong but don't think it is 1\" year up & 1 year down\" lah ? πŸ˜„

I think generally they are stable.

This year 2-3 points drop across the board maybe because there are less number of students + more vacancies.

I was told that PSLE 2010 has less students because of Year of TIGER. Someone said 8% less.

So who knows, PSLE 2010 may even drop further ?

Seems like you disappeared from KS radar after all the posts this morning! For me, I have 'guarding' this thread since morning, busy updating as and when the COPs come in.

Haha, who cares whether the COP goes up or down next year, it is not my concern anymore! I am done with all PSLEs for the rest of my life!

                      Haiyo 25hourmaid, I where got disappear ?

I was exhausted & knocked out lah. Woke up too early this morning, then didn't sleep. Some more took my DD to try take public transport. Wah damn jialat, kena stand all the way to & fro, apek like me where can tahan ? Now backache liao !!

After that took her go buy uniform, queue also damn long bcos so may people try for correct size, whole place so disorganized like market. Worst still, at the end of all the queue after trying everything, when time to buy, they told me the size I want out of stock !! I want to faint liao ....

                      πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„ πŸ˜„
