        Dear all,

For those who have enquired regarding the tutor I have previously mentioned, her name is Teacher Nicky.
Please PM me if you need her contact details because I seldom check back on the forum.
My boy has just gotten back his results for PSLE on Wednesday and he got an A* for his science. We are over the moon!! Highly recommend this teacher if you want to see improvement in your children’s results.
She only teaches up till primary 6 PSLE so my boy can’t continue lesson with her anymore in Secondary School which is really a pity.

My boy is currently under a private tutor and is improving a lot. He’s been with her for about 1 year now and his results has been improving steadily from borderline pass last year, he can score A now. She’s also teaching my siblings children and they have also been improving, really glad i found her.She teaches only science and i’m not sure whether she travels out far because me and my siblings all live in bukit panjang area.

She provides her own notes, worksheets and mindmaps and sometimes even do simple science experiments with my kid so he really loves her lesson. Science experiment really takes up a lot of time but he got better concept of the topic after the experiments.

Hi tyxmummy, appreciate if you can PM me the contact. Thank you.

I know of a really good tutor from tuition centre @ Holland area. She's one of the best kept secrets, many high ability kids under her in my DS's school but parents kiasu or selfish, don't want to recommend. Slowly one by one quit own tuition and switch to her. After I sent my son to her, I see why the kids love her, very inspiring. Can pm u if you don't mind the travel.

            Hi Julia,

I'm hoping you login & see this post. I would really appreciate the contact details of the science tutor in Holland V.

Thank you.[/quote]Hi... can i get the tutor contact?

tyxmummy has definitely found a good science tutor, and I do know the experience of finding one is not easy! I am like many of you a very kiasu mum who was very worried of my boy’s result in science after he gave the shock of my life when he failed his science in P4! I was looking for a lot of tutor but didn’t really manage to find one that can pique my boy’s interest.

Then I came across Tutor Frankie from this website (I can’t recall was it last year or so) and decided to give him a try. He is a pretty experienced and strict tutor who has many years of experience teaching science. Being strict works for my boy as he is often lazy and just keep losing focus during class. He was a former science teacher who came out to teach around North East area. He was able to structure lessons in a way my boy can understand, and also go through all his mistakes he made for his finals in P4. He also taught different methods to prepare my boy for finals which is applicable for not just science.
As the school ends today, I am very proud to say that my boy managed to score 84 for his science in his finals this year (He is P5 now). I really give my thanks to Tutor Frankie for helping my boy, and am confident he is going to help my boy ace his PSLE next year! If any of you are interested you can contact him at 81393075. Hope to share this so as your child/children can benefit from his science teaching methods (just as i did!)

Hi, any feedbacks on TLL Science at Seletar Mall? Am in dilemma to get a private tutor, going to TLL or bluetree for my p5 child. Thanks!
