My child is with MOE Kindergarten @ Frontier. During the June school holidays, 3 teachers resigned so new teachers took over when school reopened. Now it’s only almost a month with the new teacher and they had a change again! Received a note today informing of the change. Only 7 mths and so many changes. Wonder if there’ll be more changes as we still have the remaining of this year and next year at this kindy. Dunno what’s the problem tsk

Hi, mrsm, can I ask how is the new teachers coming along? Can your child get use to the new teachers? My boy is joining next yr in frontier mk too... still hvnt 2nd thoughts too... :(.... how do you find the mk teaching?

Teachers at private sch change often too. Main issue is to find out the reason for leaving. Which i understand might be hard to pintpoint.

is there any parent who are working and interested in taking up MOE kindergarten with Kcare facilities?


I just spoken to Kcare principal and was shocked to know that even my child has a space in MOE Kindergarten, he is not guaranteed of a space in Kcare facility. I was very disappointed in this, when i was so trilled to be informed that my child is going to attend the kindergarten next year. I even went happily to its seminar and was confirmed by the teacher involved at the seminar that i do not need to worry about not getting in the Kcare... Who knows... change of words still happened in the government sector... how am i supposed to bring the child to childcare after he finish his school at MOE Kindergarten... oh gosh this is so ridiculous... furthermore applying to MOE Kindergarten and applying to Kcare is different applications... Oh my goodness... why this information is not even in MOE Kindergarten website... i would have put a second thought to applying MOE Kindergarten since Kcare is not guaranteed

want to ask, is it more than 500m away from the school, cannot get in PV MK ?

I had been rejected the application and called to PV MK want to find out the reason, but the incharge there everything tell me CANNOT EXPOSE. even i ask if put under waiting list ? her reply is : u can put under waiting list but is a long list there. so i asked again, may i know how many ppl in the waiting list, her answer again "CAN NOT EXPOSE" !! im really quite pissed off with all this reply of CAN NOT EXPOSE. dont understand what is the reason can not expose ??
i really willing to register my youngest son to PV MK bcs my elder son is P1 at PV.
Anyone can advise what can i do?

Priority goes by distance.
1. < 500m
2. 500m to 1km
3. > 1km
Guess the main reason that you can't get the place must be due to distance priority. You can 1) waitlist and 2) look for another kindergarten/childcare.

There is no reason why they can't tell you, but there's also no reason why they must tell you. You just have to move on to the next alternative.
