Hi, anyone putting their child in school bus?

I was quoted $160 for 2-way & $140 for 1-way!!! And my house is just 2 bus stops away! I feel that it is such a rip off!

My elder girl whose school is 8 bus stops away, her school bus fare is only $74 for 2 way... That's half the price...

I would appreciate any feedback from parents' whose child is also in WPS & is taking the school bus.

      Thanks!
If you feedback, school will probably say they secured through tender and that is the best price. We are really at the receiving end.... 🀷

Hi, my girl newly join & will start her P2 next year in WPS.

May I know the name tag on uniforms & PE attires have to be in the child's full name? How many sets of PE attires that mummies prepared for your child? The socks & shoes in white? I'd forgotten to ask these during our meet up session last 2 weeks :slapshead:

        Thanks in advance for advise.

Any ideas how does the school assigned the classes? My girl will be going primary 1 in 2018. I heard that the first 3 classes (1A-1C) are good. 1D onwards are very rowdy and slow kid. The school did not have an assessment or seen the kids, how do they assess them?

            Hi,

Anyone putting their child in school bus from Pasir Ris? My boy will start his P1 next year and we are staying from Pasir Ris.

Like to check if you engage the school bus from school or outside?

            Thanks

Hi all, my son has been with waterway for 2 years and will be in P3 next year. Saw some queries so i will try to help!

Yes, there are people takig school bus from pasir ris, but do note you will likely be e first few they pick ard 6am, and then the bus will pick students from punggol.

Regarding e assignment of class, i do think its randomly mixed, no seperating of good/ rowdy students. I have seen the school always giving opportunity for every child from diff classes to develop their leadership.

Name tag need not be full name. Usually its just Matthew Tan(for eg). My boy currently have to wear 3 days of pe attire and 2 days of uniform per week. So i have 3 sets of pe attire, n is sufficient. And yes, socks and shoes are white.

School bus is definately very expensive, but i got no choice as i stay in sengkang. On e good side is, school bus arrives early on time for the students to join in the good morning assembly programme which i feel is beneficial and informative for my boy.

Cant comment on student care as i did not opt for it. However, my boy does stay back for 2 days a week for abacus and chinese enrichment. These r optional though.

Overall, e school is very well equipped with good teachers and programmes. Definately he enjoys school and i am also thankful i made the right choice 2 years ago! Hope this helps πŸ™‚

To all parents of current students,

How do you find the air and noise pollution since there is big plot of land next door that is undergoing Construction?

Are the students able to hear the teachers clearly and vice versa? Are the classroom windows open or closed when classes are ongoing and are there any air purifiers installed? Are PE lessons held Outdoors?

The noise can be quite loud. But once the foundations are done, it should be less. THe noisier thing is from the fighter jets taking off. Its LOUD....
