      For proving angles, it will be better to make an angle to be alpha and start from there, that would actually have the same effect in using algebra to solve. For proving equation, starts from the theorem first (either tangent-secant theorem, intersecting chord theorem, etc)

          yup, this is a method which i have come up with and it could solve almost all the questions. you can send in your question to [email protected]. That is a portal which i set up to help people solve question for free šŸ™‚ or you can post here (i think should be ok?)

                        Hence, 2X - 3 > 0

                        In order for that to happen, X > 2

                        Drop the absolute sign and just solve X + 1 = 2X - 3, X = 4
