Well you could also consider incoporating music especially learning classicla music. There is alot of research showing that playing music engages and trains the whole brain. Ahh… now I remember. You should watch this episode of natgeo series My Brilliant Brain; born genius. There was this music prodigy who ended up becoming a neuroscientist or doctor(cant remeber exactly). He later did extensive research and found that there is no one activity that uses more parts of the brain than playing music.

            Hi Mincy,

My niece used to send her son to iGenius. She said it's pretty good and her son enjoys the lesson. I used to send my son to Shichida, and I too consider the course to be pretty good. Some of their activities are pretty similar, even with ESP, but iGenius don't use flash cards like the way they do in Shichida.

Like Blackdas mentioned above, when our children do not pay attention or keeps wanting to go to the washroom, you really feel like $$$ going down the drain...

I've recently come across a site which introduces Mandala - it's one of the activities used in Shichida for photomemory. It's one of my son's favourite actually. Not sure if anyone of you have seen it... I am looking forward to receiving the books cos I always lack the materials to practice at home. Too bad it's the only thing they have at the moment...

Hi, I also have problem getting Shichida materials for my daughter.
Where did you get your materials?
            I got mine from http://www.homeeducation.sg and http://www.rightbraineducationshop.com.

Hi, I have just spoken to a mummy who used to send her son to Shichida, the child now do quite ok in school, among the top 100. The results is good, but it appears to me that it is far from the outrageous results that Shichida claims.

Since the program is already almost 40 years, and already in Sg for 10++ years, I was wondering if there is any results to proof that the methods work? I have been searching around google but no luck.

                Anyone with the answers?

Yes I also like to know as some of those children who attend 8-10 years ago would have grown up. Wonder what is their experience and by now should see effect in full.

What is your definition of ‘effects in full’?

                    No offence, just curious…

What I meant was those who had gone through many years of training might now be able to do what was shown in the video that they showed us. The video all in Japanese available on youtube. I wonder if any Singaporean children can do what was shown on those videos. Those done by the Jap Kids.

I'm curiously about the result as well.
