      :!:

      you win !

Prata with Coke ? And I thought prata with maple syrup is exotic !

It's easy to be miscontrued these days. And this wan in particular
on purpose some more. :politebleah: Of course i meant the pratas were
eaten with home made curries or sambals, spicy definitely... 😉...
but later on downed with Coke, doh. (I'm the ultimate Coca Cola girl that
i think Coca Cola should make me spokesperson! Yes!)

Dun put words in my mouth hoh.. Prata can.

Below was wat i \"actually\" said.
      buds:
....Or on days i have my own spicy chicken curry with fried potatoes or sambal sardines, me and my family would rather have our fix
in our own kitchen... buds' kitchen... with the tried and tested
Chinatown instant pratas regardless cooked fried extra crispy
or just normal lightly fried with a glass of coke. Still yummilicious!
I'm not into that kinda fusion yet. Though heart and soul very ang moh..
      tummy still tropical.

Hmm...talking about instant pratas, what brand do you like? I used to think Chinatown one is good but changed my mind once I've tried the Kawan brand (esp the one with onions). Kawan brand comes with 5 pcs in a packet too so it's not so bulky in freezer. But if anyone has tried any that is better than Kawan ones...do post!

how we prepare the instant prata makes a different in the taste too.

I agree with you tankee. That's why i stuck with Chinatown.

For those who like the ones with french onion flavour, the
above brand has it too. Chinatown also comes in smaller
packs. Can't remember how many now though..

My mumsie has done her Chinatown version like a sandwich
or maybe it is more like murtabak... ... she sorta puts
stir fried minced meat (chicken/beef) in the centre of the prata/
pancake, which has a tinge of curry flavouring. Best served hot!

And of course, downed with a glass of cool icy coke. Hahaa!

Hmmm....I like my prata and teh halia. The curry and the ginger are potent mixes.

Now that I'm going to try out the instant pratas (say again, Chinatown and Kawan), can down with my Coke original - no coke light or coke zero for me...I'm the original gal! 😉

Blobbi, like we agreed before, dwelling on the thread’s fine…it’s the "acting on the leads" that is lethal!
