I was equally excited and can't wait to share with Kiasuparents! so I just cut and paste from my email...i received this piece of info. via my email (coz I've subscribed to NLB news)....just now following your query, i called up NLB general line at 6332 3255 (press option 8 for general enquiries) and the officer told me that there was system error and the email was generated wrongly! this was meant to be last year email reminder! So there will NOT be any NLB's Library Book Sale in July this year, she told me there will be one in Sep 2012 but website not updated yet... :stupid: My apologies for the wrong information...wonder anyone else received the same \"error\" email?!!

To reply sahm_tan, no I only bought a few that I want to read (horribly famous roald dahl, shakespeare; a horrible special on witches). held back on the murderous maths becos I couldn't remember what I have. Will go back to do stock take tonight and cheong again tomorrow.

Sale ends this weekend. Those who need to find reasons can say there is electrical cum food fair this weekend. psst, those who want free parking can try ue bizhub (where ntuc is). just tell the security uncle you going ntuc to shop - not bad really.

btw, the books are new but some have bent covers (some slight, others worse) - so it's not tip top pristine. there are other books available - like dora/diego types but those for younger kids and I outgrew those liao. kekekeke

thanks for the tips on nlb sale, but my heart wont race leh. I am a sucker for cheap books but they have to be new. went there many years ago and couldn’t find what I want to buy (too chaotic) and also the book condition could be quite bad. I bought 2 titles but somehow we never touch even after I wiped it with dettol…it’s still quite eeeee (sorry I fussypot).
