BOOK Fairs

hi, anyone buy at World Book Day-popular, 2nd @ 50% off? any good deals?

Nothing that appeal to me le. Just hold out for expo sale next Friday? Or mph expo sale. Seriously once book lovers go to the latter, it is a bit hard to go back to retail price, even at 20% off (unless it is ultra rare and hard to get)

sg book fair at suntec or popular bookfair at expo…which one is better? i don’t know i should go to which book fair… *headache

Depend on what you want. Aiming for assessment books and stationery? Confirm popular better. Suntec one will have more varied stores but the price, though discounted may not be that cheap. Each time I turn over a prc published book and see the local price tag, my heart still awed how much markup there is.

24th may to 28th may - POP fair

25th may to 3rd june - book fair

Go POP fair on 24th may (member only) then 25th may go book fair at suntec lo ...

Eh. But some good buys may disappear. I once bought some Chinese Dora books at the fair in the early days. 2 days later, no more.

For POP fair, be it going on the day for members or non-members also no difference. Equally crowded. Suggest going on 25 May for both fairs bah


A question eh........noticed Teachers' Day special at the book fair, how do the exhibitors check huh?
