wow , u are well prepared.

what is a MUST buy list?
my son is at primary one. which books or story books are suggested to buy at pop fair?
i do not have experience at all since he is my first child .
appreciated if any mom can suggest to me to buy GOOD books at the fair.
hi celinn, not sure what will be at this fair. Noted that it's only half a hall (6A). Also, not sure what your son is interested in. I'm eyeing the 100 Facts series books by Miles Kelly - last sale it was going at $4.90 each. It's quite dry but strangely, DS2 loves me to read that to him (haiz). There may be like 20-30% off normal books - up to you to consider if that is good enough (or if you want to hold out for mph sale - they MAY have good offerings for storybooks; only problem with that is it may be tough to find specific titles).

Actually the bookfest at year end should be much better in terms of variety and discount. This is but a filler. Those who can wait, I would think maybe better to wait?

I have made a list of stuff I wanted to buy on that day. Hope to pick up in the shortest time possible so that I can go fetch my gal back from school @ 1pm.

Wahaha... Actually this is my own self restraint that I imposed upon myself so that I won't or can't overbuy since I have a time constraint ... Hope it works ! πŸ˜† :xedfingers: πŸ™

Using buds' way of chanting doesn't work for me ! :faint:

ha ha...each time I go to bookstore/sale, if I see an assessment book, I have to keep telling myself that DS won't want to do it and then it'll be brand new when i have to chuck it away. If I see a storybook, likely I'll tell myself that this one can borrow from library - those that cannot, then I'll pounce. πŸ˜›
