ha ha...each time I go to bookstore/sale, if I see an assessment book, I have to keep telling myself that DS won't want to do it and then it'll be brand new when i have to chuck it away. If I see a storybook, likely I'll tell myself that this one can borrow from library - those that cannot, then I'll pounce.

i cannot one lei i see books i like is directly ask dh can buy most of the time he let me be haha in exchange for car magazine so i use another approach buy already then store at grannys place if is more then 3 then ask ds to bring bac dh ask it will be oh yiyi left the books at granny ask me bring back give mummy one   -
this look like a clear case for electronic books. With eBooks you no longer have to leave books at grandma's place :). You can have hundreds of books and it doesn't take an inch of space on your bookshelf. With that many books, your spouse can't really track what books are recently bought and there is marital bliss

i cannot la though already got kindle still love the feel of the paper in hand and sometimes the smell of new paper haha thats why my dh used to say can never tell i am such a bookworm. -
Agree. I don’t like to read evokes all that much. The touch, the smell…no horse can run. Plus I always like to flip to see how much more I got to go - e one just so not the same.

anyway kindle if i read for a very long period of time like i how i read paperback my eyes will suffer alot since i can read a few hrs straight.

My record was 8 hours…Harry potter. Can’t remember which book but it was one of the latter ones. I literally went into a room and locked myself in until I was done. My family knew better than to disturb me. Macham like 练功

13 hours? My brain would feel so fried! Anyway, I’m still resisting to read the Twilight series.
