I went to Suntec World Book Fair and I bought a lot, not assessment books but story books.Times bookstore is having sales 1 bk for $8, 3 for $20 and 5 for $30. Mostly for teens, though you may be able to get some younger children books there.

My \"5 for $30\" books include Young Sherlock Holmes series, Alex Rider series and Chicken Soup series. Also got some Genonimo Stilton and Rainbow Magic books for $5 each and Charm books for $3 each. Stocks are quite limited as some books I only see 1 or 2 around.

That to me is quite good pricing. Spend above $50 and you get a gift pack, and spend above $100 you get to choose 2 more books FOC.

And yes, DH questioned the big pack (Again  ! Just had a big pack a few weeks ago during MPH sale ๐Ÿ˜“ :nailbite: !) and I told him \"Christmas gifts\" :rotflmao:

Btw, just to share another fantastic find at the World Book Fair: there is a craft store right at the back of the hall which is organising periodic card making workshops (I think the name is K Craft). DD went there and she really enjoyed herself. They taught her how to use their \"machine\" to make embossed card, cut decorations which are more 3D for the cards. I left her there whilst I shopped around. When I went back, I actually joined her to make a card too! All materials for the workshop are FOC but of course, they tried to persuade us to buy the \"machine\" and \"pattern plates\" for the making art work at home ๐Ÿ˜‰

There are stores selling reading resources, creative writing n craft resources. Must admit I didnโ€™t really pay much attention to these, but I can definitely say not much variety. Scale of fair limited. In fact, saw most pple at Times store n the You Yi Chinese bk stores.

Times selling GS for $5 per book but very limited titles and some families / kids getting quite a number of books. Horrid Henry about same price too. This is at the World Book Fair.
