        Review of Totsville

        Sure sounds disappointing.

U mean the teachers did not guide your son during the free play session?

BTW, how many teachers were in class? Was it Eva / Melody / chinese teacher?

Any idea how the daily playgroup / workgroup is carried out?

Did they arrange for the trial for just this session or is it the timing fix and then you just join in the class?

The teachers are quite young, but they are very nice.I guess maybe with more experience would be better? :?

I went for a trial with my boy last Sat....

Yup, it was Eva & Melody there. They were young & friendly, and did try to guide my boy, but not very successful.

As I said, the lack of other students didn't contribute to a suitable enviornment. And it could be that it was my boy's first time there, so he was still unsettled. I guess one-time trial isn't very conclusive 😞

No idea abt the daily playgroup/workgroup coz I wasn't looking for that. But I guess you could arrange for a trial to find out?

It's a regular Sat session. But 2 of the kids aren't very regular, the other was travelling.. so it's just my boy & his parents. Felt a bit awkward

Yes I agree. They are very nice & they helped to settle my boy rather quickly when it looked like he wanted to cry & get out of the room. I think my boy likes Teacher Melody coz she's young & pretty :nobuaya: :faint:

Ants on the Apple / Zoophonics

Is what I heard \"Ants on the Apple\"? Is this Zoophonics? :?

The song goes something like this..
                \"Balls are bouncing
                Buh buh buh (3x)
                Balls are bouncing
                Buh Buh Buh
Buh is the sound of B

                Lizards leaping
                Ler ler ler...

                Kittens kicking
                Kuh kuh kuh..\"

It's a song played on a CD, with short pauses between each alphabet. There's a complementary book with a picture on each page corresponding to the alphabet that the CD is playing.

It's a resource kit for the introduction to the phonetic sounds of
each alphabet, making learning easy and fun for the children. :celebrate:
