It's equal weightage for all subjects now. The 2 languages \"higher\" weightage was historical. I was told it happened many many years back (maybe 10 yrs ago?..dunno)Are you sure ? At every briefing by the school, the principal emphasized that every subject has equal weightage : 75 / 300 for the T-score.
Where is the evidence to say that the 2 languages carry more weight ? And what weight ? 80/300 ? 85/300 ? I want to know.

OMG!!! Can't believe I'm reading this ridiculous post...from a tutor somemore. A tutor who should be fully aware of the various changes in the education system.
One important reminder to all parents: The 2 languages carry more weight than Math and Science. Make sure your child is spending proportionate time on the 2 lanuuages.
Bentan, FYI, all 4 subjects carry EQUAL weightage...as far back as 2004 when my girl took her psle. Please check your facts. I'm surprised that as a tutor you're unaware of this. :faint:
Hope you would at least come forth and clarify..and if you've told parents at your centre, please do the right thing and tell them so.
