My son who‘s in k2 now went for a free assessment at the LC @tampines cpf building yesterday and he was actually put under launchpad. But im still indecisive ..wondering if its worth to enroll him there. My son kinda struggle when he needs to read instructions everytime when he does his homework. I was hoping that by enrolling him at the LC, it will somehow helps him improve in his reading. I appreciate any feedback about LC at the tampines branch. And how does this referral code works? how do I get one? TIA:)

I brought my son to Tampines to do the assessment as well, not very impressive by the teacher there. And my friend recommended me her daughter teacher at Marine Parade center, and I brought my boy there for a free trial class and the little likes the teacher! After that I heard that the 2 teachers there are quite popular there. So now every week I travelled from Tampines to Marine Parade for the class and I feel it’s worth it.

My daughter is currently in I can read, I also did not see much progress after 1 year plus study. I heard a lot of good comments from my friend and from this discussion. Now I’m more confident to enroll my daughter in Lcentral now.

Best to go for both their trial class and at the same time access the center & teacher especially during the busy time (in between lesson start/end).

My kid is in punggol branch and therefore can't advise on the Tiong Bahru area.

Anyone can share experience in Lcentral Serangoon? Is it good for primary school English enrichment? like Spelling, grammar and vocabulary, comprehension, creative writing?

Any teacher recommended from that branch?
