Just attended NYGH open house yesterday and was told that the DSA intake for Chinese Dance as CCA is probably about 2 to 3 students only.
I am considering either to DSA my gal via CCA (Chinese Dance) or via Academic.
CCA : My gal is in Chinese Dance since she was 4 yrs old from external Dance school (note : Chinese Dance is not her CCA in school). She passed with First Class Grade every year. She was excited with the choices of CCAs NYGH has, but she truly understands that if she is being accepted by the school via CCA, she has to take Chinese Dance as her CCA. She was quite reluctant but this is the only talent (CCA) she has.
Academic : she did quite well in her mid year exam. (Aggregated score abt : 268 (though is neighborhood school)). She is also head prefect in school.
Q1: is Chinese Dance one of NYGH core CCA?
Q2 : should I apply via CCA or Acad? Which chance is higher?
Q3 : if via Acad, what other support is useful?
Thanks in advance for kind advices.
