      Mrs Cheng:
We received the letter today and my ds is given a confirmed offer for a place in Visual Arts . Now we're in a dilemma as his academic results are not great and we're concerned whether IB is suitable for him.

Congrats! My girl's exam results have not been good. But if she is able to qualify for the express stream to get into SOTA, I wouldn't worry about the
IB program yet and will definitely select SOTA.

My daughter received a CO. She auditioned under Dance (Ballet). When I saw the small envelope in the mailbox, I thought it was a rejection letter. Imagine my relief when I slid the letter out and saw 'CONFIRMED OFFER... '. My girl didn't appear excited as she knows it still depends on her PSLE results. It'll be an uphill task for her as her past exam results had not been good. I told her at least there's a chance šŸ™‚

      Ragamuffin shinobi:
Have been curious about what types of questions SOTA will ask the students in the interview and written test. Some egs would be good :boogie:

Anyone knows when the Open House is this year? My girl who is in P3 also wants to enter the dance faculty and has been bugging me to bring her there.
      hi!

The open house will be held on 12 May. Based on what I recorded in my calender šŸ™‚ Either I saw it on the steps leading to the school or they mentioned it during the earlier symposium.

      Hi Pixie28

thks, can i know which cc is ur gal having her ballet lesson? i m looking for pre-primary ballet for my gal but most of the centre or cc i called the classes have already started or timing not suitable..
      hi shinystar

my gal is taking classes in both sengkang and toa payoh west cc under ms chin. Grade 2 in Sk and grade 4 in tp.
Yes exams are usually ard April. They are in e final prep for exams now so I believe they will only take in new students in apr. You may want to call the cc and check with them which teacher's timing is suitable for your gal or whether both ms chin and ms woo will be taking in pre primary gals for the next intake.

      Hi

Anyone has gal attending any ballet school or can recommend good ballet centre in sengkang, hougang or kovan area? thks
      hi!

A good ballet teacher is more important šŸ™‚ My girl is taking lessons from Ms Jenny Chin. She's teaching in Sengkang and Toa Payoh CC. I'm sure there are other good schools or teachers but if you're looking for one in Sengkang, I highly recommend Ms Chin.
