Does anyone know if MGS IB accepts student from another IP school during Y3 admission? What is the rate of admission? And what is the number of students from MGS O levels successfully transferred to IB at Y3?

Yes they do accept students from other IP schools. Interview, essay and academic results.

After year 4 in IP, you can transfer to any Poly or LaSalle or Nafa. They will accept your qualifications, including your failing IP results. MOE has planned a way out for all these kids. And it’s not difficult to get into a popular course in poly either, even with poor results. Told to me by my DG’s IP school teacher.

My child is keen to go to NUS high. Wonder if anyone can tell me about reporting day, can we send someone to go in our place if we are not in Singapore? Is reporting day the whole day or you can only turn up in the morning? Do you buy books and uniforms on that day?
