    • RE: Do you think 2 years old are too young to join childcare?

      Is she in full-day childcare?

I put my gal in full-day childcare since she was 16-mth old (with approval from MCYS then). Well initially, as compared to my friendsโ€™ children who stayed at home, she did fall sick more often than themโ€ฆ

If you are worried and have got someone reliable to look after her at home, maybe you can consider 3-4 hours nursery rather than full-day childcare?

    • RE: Label Printing Machine

I am using Brother too for all my DD's stuff. Like it as the name label on her water bottle doesn't come off easily even after frequent washing ๐Ÿ˜„

I also use cheap cartoon sticker labels and self inking stamp sometimes....for her not so important or fun stuff.

    • RE: How do you de-stress yourself after a day of hard work?

Thanks all for your advice ๐Ÿ˜‰

My DD is 5 now so it's hard for her to understand mummy's stress....

Didn't want to keep pouring my troubles and stress to DH since he has his own work issues and stress too....Also, really hate to talk about work at home so normally I will try to keep them to myself rather than sharing with DH.

I used to go to hair salon to de-stress but now I don't even need to do that...my hair already dropping \"automatically\" (Think I will face hair loss problem soon haha!)

Hmmm I shall start doing some gym exercises, jogging or swimming and see how...

      Thanks all!

    • How do you de-stress yourself after a day of hard work?

I always tell myself to forget about work stress and issues when I am back at home. But sometimes it's really hard to do so after a bad day and still need to put on a smiling face to my family especially to my child.

Can anyone share some advice here? ๐Ÿ˜ž

      Hi abacus_trainer

Based on your personal observation, typically how long does it take for a child to complete his/her foundation stage and move on to Grade 13? Thanks!

I would like to send my girl to a gym class and tried to contact above & beyond gym by phone and email several times but they never replied. Yerdua/HL, are your children in above & beyond gym? Any specific contact that I should call? Thanks.

    • RE: All About Kids' Eye-sight

Are you going to a private refraction clinic? You can check with the clinic if they have some recommended optical shops.

I got some names from the the clinic and I went to Capitol Optical eventually.
