About 1 year ago, I sent my girl (Sec 2 then) to Raymond’s Maths Studio upon my sister’s recommendation. At that point in time, I was looking for a Maths tutor for my girl. She was struggling in school and was not getting good grade for Maths. So, her recommendation came at the right time. Within a few months, her results improved. Even her school Maths teacher was surprised. Her teacher asked her how come her results improved suddenly. She told him she had tuition outside!
I asked my girl what is the magic formula? She said Raymond can explain difficult concepts in such a way that she finds it easy to understand. She told me she loves Maths now and enjoys doing Maths questions!!! That is the best! I must thank Raymond for guiding her.
He is strict and demanding but that should be the way to go -> to instil discipline in the students.

RE: Neuromath Tuition Centre - Discussion
Hi!
Thanks for your reply
Besides teaching strategies, does the centre teach similar questions like in Paper 1?
Most likely I will put her in for P6 as I cannot find a suitable time slot to put her in. Hope they have classes in Nov/Dec.

RE: Neuromath Tuition Centre - Discussion
My girl is P5 this year. Last year, she scored 94 for her Maths. But this year, it dropped to 74. I am very worried and have been looking around for a tution centre for her. I came across NeuroMath and I’m quite impressed with the various strategies they used to solve challenging Maths problems.
Any of you heard of this tuition centre? Is it good?
Thanks. -
Beautyful Minds Education - Discussion
I am thinking of sending my P5 girl to the tuition centre "Beautiful Minds" at Parkway for Maths and Science.
Anyone’s child is in the centre?
Understand they use mindmap to teach.
Do they focus on how to solve challenging problems for Maths?
Thanks!
