      Hi
Am thinking of purchasing uniforms for Sec 1 earlier as may not be in town in the last week of December. I saw both JeepSing n Shanghai uniforms sell CCHM Uniforms via Google search. Buying from either vendor will be ok? Also do the students typically wear PE attire most days? So will one full set of uniform shirt suffice and more PE tees and bermudas?
      Thanks for advice!
      JeepSing is the updated one!

2007 batch (sec3 2022) seems to be the smartest out of the 4 batches.

School had a tough Math and Science paper for their EOY exams, and raised requirement for triple science to >75 for both Math and Science.

Subject allocation released already, many who wanted triple science ended up in double science.

Looks like this batch will do very well in O Levels.

      1)

      So,
CCHM opened how many Triple Pure Science classes next year, 2022 Sec 3 (born 2007)?

      open 1 or 2 classes ?

      2)

How about those 2021 Sec 2 students who have scored either
A1 (Maths) and A2 (Science) or vice versa,

      A2 (Maths) and A1 (Science) ?

If this group of students were to appeal for Triple Pure Sciences, will they be successful in their appeal ?

      After all,
A2 (70 marks & above) also not easy to achieve, esp. when you mentioned that CCHM school had set tough year-end EOY 2021 Sec 2 exam papers.

CCHMS does not allow appeals if one gets into their first three choices. One student 94 for Math but 73 for Science, unsuccessful for triple science.

      :?

For Triple Science, the requirement has always been >75.

For those who opted for Triple Science but ended up in Double Science, it might not be due to the >75 requirement. It could be due to their Sec 2 Humanities results, too, for instance.

No, requirement for triple science has always been >70.

      Hi all,
My child has a score of 248, HC +2. We are torn between AHS and CCH. We stay in Simei, so it takes us 25 mins to get to AHS but an hour to CCH. May I know what’s the estimate % of CCH students who went on to NYJC? The affliation is very attractive to us. But at the same time, distance and travelling time are a bit discouraging. Can experienced parents in CCH share more information regarding the school pls? Thanks.
Hello, I have a daughter in CCHM going on to sec 2 next year. Last year, she was also torn between AHS and CCHM. We stay near Simei too. We chose CCHM because heard from friends there many move on to NYJC, HCI and RI. From 2019 sec4s in CCHM, 96.3% eligible for JC and 100% eligible for poly πŸ™‚ CCHM produces better results compared to AHS, campus is also much bigger. Now, she is v happy and excelling in academics. AHS and CCHM students pretty much know each other and from what I hear, my daughter said CCHM students are a lot more hardworking. Most of the travelling time is on the mrt. For the good results, affiliation, campus and teachers, I think the travelling is worth it!

Hi, does anyone know of any private bus contact from Sengkang to Chung Cheng Main?
Hello. CCHMS does not provide school / private buses. Many students travel there by public transport / cars. For public transport, you can take from Sengkang 4 stops to Serangoon, then change to yellow and 5 stops to Dakota. Travelling time shouldn't be long, and my daughter is studying here ( moving on to sec2 next year ). She's very happy! Though she wanted another school she came here cos of her COP. But now she is scoring straight As. Only school in sg to have natural lake and grand auditorium as national monument. Also have gym and many well renovated facilities. People here have strong sense of unity and academics wise, high standard. Got weekly calligraphy and tea appreciation lessons. Hope u choose Chung Cheng Main!

My daughter gotten 248 and merit for hmt. If she choose the first 4 choices above her aggregate score and crescents girls as her 5th choice. Will it be safe to say she can get in crescents girls even though it is her 5th choice?
Hello, consider Chung Cheng High School *(Main)*. COP for last year P6s is 244. Wiser to put this before crescent girls πŸ™‚ This is a SAP school, so point will be counted as 250. DD studying at CCHMS and moving on to sec2 next year... v happy

My DS got 247. Any recommendations? I am considering Bukit Panjang Primary vs SJI O-level.
SJI IP is 4-5 points away.
ACS(I) O level also 5 points away. Any suggestions?
Hello, consider Chung Cheng High School (Main). COP for last year P6s is 244. Campus is big, only school with a natural lake. Many facilities like gym and grand auditorium with more than 2.7k seats. Can give it a shot πŸ™‚ Be careful, there are 2 Chung Cheng schools, Yishun and Main. Main has higher academic standards, located at dakota.
