@ara … I think you should appeal … this is the least you could do. - I appealed on the same day. Not wanting him to feel worse, I sent him home and went back to school alone to appeal - He has a affiliated school to go to. All the Best !

Hi … my kid psle cane back as 226… this cane as a total shock to us.

1. His subjects besides Chinese is usually 88-96.
Infact his prelims is 96/91/88/70(Chinese)

2. His Chinese usually ranges fro 66-70.

3. His English and science alternate years will be top in the non gep cohort… usually about 95/93 marks…

226 came as a total shock to us. Kids in his class who are worse then him are getting 23/24. Honestly I expected a 24 or 25x. He is not a weak weak, struggling student.

He is from a “branded” school. So standard cannot be that crap.

I also made a point to send him to and from psle papers. I know he didn’t blank out and was in good spirit. As he comes in to the car discussing the questions and answers.


I have appealed for all his papers to be reviewed. I cannot reconcile his psle score with his 6 years performance in his school.

Is it possible for a mistake to be made in the marking or recording of points ?
