Last time, my mother's house, was very peaceful. Because hers happen to be the last block, inside a neighbourhood. Very quiet, very peaceful. Everything was just perfect. Peaceful ambience.

Then, 6 years ago,
govt hdb introduced \"upgrading\" project, in the neighbourhood, where hdb added an extra \"match box\", for the dining area. And also built a lift landing, on every floor. This was good, because who don't want an extra room to be built, right ? Or who doesn't want to have a lift, on your own floor ?

However,
over & above adding this extra matchbox, hdb also introduced a new basketball court right below my mother's unit, to allow Youth to exercise more. With this, the peace was broken !
Why ?

Because every morning, around 6 am, got teenagers youth playing basketball, right underneath my mother's flat. And when the basketball bounced & hit the ground non stop continuously while the boys (youth) were playing , it was so loud and woke everybody up, from their morning sleep. Especially when u think u can sleep longer on a Sunday morning, here, the up & down bouncing ball wake u up suddenly

Oh dear...did u already raise this concern to the authorities? 6am too early to play basketball. What if one tenant/resident nearby work at night then sleeps daytime but always keep hearing basketball noises :roll:
