Meanwhile he will be having his brain therapy tomorrow. Just cross my fingers that it will help his condition.

Hi, my son 9 yrs old has been diagnosed with Tourette syndrome and OCD. He has these kind of symptoms:

1. Vocal and motor tics
2. Involuntary body movement, jerking on arms, legs and tummy
3. Touching things repetitively
4. Dressing and undressing repetitively
5. Flipping books for few times
6. Washing hands repetitively
7. Opening and closing doors repetitively
8. Checking on things must be in order
9. Lack of concentration in school
10. Worry too much
11. Anxious over minor things

Has anyone have come across these? Any support group for these disorders? What should I do to help him cope with his anxiety?
Singapore school is too competitive and stressful for him, any suggestion whether he should be pulled out from mainstream program?
Please advise…
