Answer to Q1: Jimmy, whose shirt has a picture of Mickey Mouse, is a naughty boy.

Answer to Q2: Damien informed / told Yenny that they would be buying their mother a present the next day.

Namie's answer to Q1 is correct since the word 'whose' is always put after the person or people it refers to.

As for Q2, I believe that the correct answer is \"Damien told Yenny that they were buying a present the next day.\" This is because we change the present continuous (are buying) to past continuous (were buying) when we convert Direct to Indirect Speech.

So 'lingers' is more for negative and 'continues' for positive. Example:
Negative: \"Margaret Thatcher Left a 'Dark Legacy' That Still Lingers...\"
Positive: \"Reagan's Legacy Continues...\"

Then why did Obama say \"Mandela legacy will linger...\"
He also mentioned that Nelson Mandela was a “hero for the world''. So he meant it to be positive.

Maybe he had a hidden meaning, or was it due to difference between America vs UK English.

There are three definitions of linger:

1) Stay in a place longer than necessary, typically because of a reluctance to leave
2) (linger over) Spend a long time over (something)
3) Be slow to disappear or die

It is not always the case that the connotation is negative. Obama probably meant that Mandela's legacy will still continue, but may eventually diminish and die away.

Nevertheless, I looked at the passage. I believe that answer is still 'continues' as the passage is addressing the present day (the paragraph starts with 'today'). So Tan Kah Kee's legacy is still present and still continues.
