    • RE: Every parents pain (Finding a tutor/tuition center)

      Hi Parents,

I’m a startup founder and parent of 2 school going kids 9 & 4 years. Recently I felt my elder son need some help with his studies so I started to look for ways I could help him. I realised i have very limited options, either I could look for a good tuition center or a home tutor. But finding a good one was harder than I thought. It was time consuming and without any real testimony it was like hunting in dark.
I feel not just me, most of the parents goes through this and definitely there’s a problem worth fixing. I think it’s a good problem to solve as my next startup. But I don’t want to delusion myself with my perception of the problems I faced so I wanted to understand all the pain, problem and what parents expect when they look for a tutor or tuition center.
I’m not selling anything here, its not a pitch, it’s a call to seek help from fellow parents so that we understand the problem and come up a solution that help the whole parent community and kids.
I would love to listen to parents in-person if feasible, and if not feel free share your experiences here on the forum or PM me.
      Any response is highly appreciated.

      Thanks in advance.

    • RE: Mavis Tutorial Centre - Discussion

      Dear Parents,

I have faced similar challenges finding tutor for my son. It was time consuming and frustrating with very limited options to choose from and that too without any real testimony that tutor I’m getting from tuition agency or teacher in “so called branded” tuition centers.
I feel, not just me most of the parent goes through this and definitely there’s a problem worth fixing. So I’m working on a project to find solution help parents. But I need help from parents to understand all the pain, problem and what they exactly look for. All the parents wants to help their kids to learn, but it private tutors or fancy tuitions centers are the only options?
I’m not selling anything here, its not a pitch, it’s a call to seek help from fellow parents. If we get the problem then only we’d be able to find a solution for it that would help the whole parent community and their kids.
So I urge parents to share their experiences. Feel free to PM me if you don’t want to share on the thread.
Appreciate your time reading the message and responding to it.
