no no, sturdy is the underlined word. the options were (1) steady (2) secure (3) durable (4) ?? forgot but surely wrong.

Math is easy. But there are many tricky qns that require you to keep a cool head and not be careless. If you’re a consistent 100-er like me, just check, check and check.

    • RE: PSLE Chinese - General Discussion

anyone knows how to write a Chinese Compo that can get 36-38 marks? i've only been getting 32-34 but not high enough. For English it seems that the longer the better BUT my chinese teacher says that I should limit to only 2 pages (without leaving lines) as I can be too luo suo. e.g. For shocked, you can just write 'liu shen wuzhu' instead of five descriptive lines.

So I'm quite confused. Write long or write short? I usually write 3-4 pages without leaving lines. Does anyone have a rubric sheet? Or just some general pointers on the charactistics of a 36-40 compo?

Thanks in advance. Please reply by Thursday so that I can prepare for PSLE on Friday. 🙂

p.s. this is a copy of post in the PSLE 10 thread so if you think it is an eyesore then delete...

    • RE: All About T-Score

thanks for all the information on T-scores but i’m concerned about grades.

From what i know it is by bell curve. But how many ppl get A* each year? The top 10%? Does it follow the marks? (A* 91%tile -100%tile A 75%tile to 90%tile)

Thanks. Because i find it quite difficult to get A* for CL especially with the exam format change.
