Today xinmin having a mass parents meeting right

My son is P1 for Xin Min primary this year. Today they are having game day. He is in 1E

HI all,

I hope all of you can help me with these issue maybe had discuss before , but no time to search thru 58 pages:-

1) I stayed in SK for 9 years and my parents is my caregiver , can i change my address in NRIC to their address ? I stayed with my parents during the weekdays , only return during weekends.


2) Is there any problem if my address is different from mine. Which address does MOE take?

well.... registration via grc volunteerism is a benefit, not a right and can be taken away at any time. it is not MOE's charter to tell us which schools belong to which GRC.

You are right. I am in Aljunied GRC as a active grassroot leader , thinking of getting my son to Xin Min primary school this year . But because of the GE and relocation of the zoning, Xin Min primary becoming under Ang Mo Kio GRC. The rest of the schhol like Monfort and yio chu kand is not a good school which are outside my list . as for Hougang primary is under punggol / sengkang SMC / GRC.
Now i really have not much choice to go. If i know the case, I should not have to join RC, end up this happen. Thinking of getting MP help to write a letter, their reply is they can help but not 100% confirm the principle will accept it cos it belong to other GRC .

1) Holy innocents’
2) Xin primary
3) Hougang Primary

My son need to register for P1 in 2011 . I am now choosing the school as follows:-
1) Xin Min Primary
2) Hougang Primary
3) Holy innocents’ Primary

These school are in Hougang I am using my parents’ address.

Any comments on these school pls advices
