Thanks Tzuke. Actually I am staying in Joo Seng Road. I like canossa convent because of its affiliation. But I will prefer a co-ed school for my girls. So, now trying to find which is a better school. I am having a headache now. hahaha. anyway thanks for your feedback.

If I were you, I will go with Cedar because the school has a lot more space for children to play. There are more choices in CCA compared with CCPS which is very much restricted to the art. When the new Bidadari estate is ready in the next few years, Cedar will very popular just like some other popular heartland schools.

when new Bidadari HDB estate open :
Cedar primary school and Cedar Girls' Secondary, will be popular

and more traffic, at Woodleigh MRT station

      Cedar primary Cca

      Canossa Convent primary Cca
      http://www.canossaconventpri.moe.edu.sg/ccps/pupils/cca
Cedar Primary has no affiliation with Cedar Girls, otherwise it would have made my choice much easier.

Cedar Girls has always been popular, but their cut off point is also quite high, so dun tink there will be an influx juz coz of the housing that is coming up.

Yes. Pei Chun very difficult to get in phase 2c and chij is out of 2km. I am thinking of sending my girl to poi ching and get her take sch bus back. But not sure if sch bus comes to potong pasir. Anyone has sch bus contact? I am also worry when she in higher primary and needs to stay back late in sch. Will the sch bus still willing to send her home ?

      Hi snowbell,

I stay near Potong Pasir too and have just registered under 2A1. Will you be registering in Poi Ching? I tried the flyover, 15-20mins drive with smooth traffic. Seems like not too bad. But same like you, now I am thinking of the return home and duno if I have made the right choice to register so far. But around this area really no more good schools for girls. 😢 N looking at the posts of the parents of existing students here, I m starting to feel the stress.

      Hi

I m new here. My girl is going Pri 1 nxt year and we are looking at Poi Ching. May I know how’s the review about this sch. Hb joined the alumni and there is like no activities or anything organized. Can we still register under 2A1? Another concern is the distance. We actually stay quite far away, actually within walking distance to Maris Stella but unfortunately my firstborn is a girl. If this phrase have to ballot, I don’t stand a chance right coz I m out by at duno how many km.
