Looks like we cannot go by the grassroot way. My son is born in 2007 so due for P1 registration in 2013 and ourselves as PV this year. We have indicated that we will move house to be near the school but we are anxious because we heard that it is even difficult to enter as a PV in Red Swastika. We have heard other schools have rejected PV applications outside their range even if the parents indicate their intention to move closer to the school.

Hi, we are sort of in a chicken and egg problem. We applied to become a PV for Red Swastika but are currently staying in a Jurong address. We could move to Bedok Reservoir area (within 1 km) as soon as they could confirm acceptance of our PV but we are not sure of our chances at all. No news from the school so far. Many of my friends said that it is extremely difficult to get in as it is. Some say must try the grassroot way as well. We like their Chinese environment very much because my son is now attending kindergarten in Nanjing and would definitely fit in better when he comes back to Singapore to start his primary school. It has been very difficult for us for the past few months to decide a suitable school for my son. Could any one advise?
